Dynamic young couple (or not)

Our beautiful region offers multiple opportunities for initiation to many sports.

Perfect for a stay to get plenty of fresh air and try out numerous activities. In May and June, Trails and races follow one another almost every weekend: Annecy Marathon and Triathlon, Maxirace, Faverges Icebreaker Trail, DOUSSARD Half Iron Triathlon. Outside school holidays, the campsite is not full, but all the services are open: shop, swimming pools, bar and restaurant. From the campsite you can easily try out some thrilling sports as well as having time to relax at the swimming pool.

We present here program ideas for short and long stays so that you don't miss anything and optimize your holidays at Campsites Annecy

Short stay program for a dynamic young couple: Arrival on Friday evening

After a long week at work, why not take a weekend break at the campsite to unwind. Reception ; reception is open until 7:30 p.m. However, if you were to arrive a little later, let us know so that we can find a solution. In the off season (May, June and September), remember to book your fresh bread for breakfast on Saturday morning.

Saturday morning: Bike tour of Lake Annecy

The distance around the Lake is 40 km and does not present any major difficulties for an adult. The cycle path will be completely finished at the end of 2022, but it is quite feasible now. On the west bank, the track is completely independent of the road and very busy. We recommend the tour of the lake by bike in the morning when it is quieter. On the east bank, the climb at Talloires is quite steep, but it is the only one on the way to Annecy!

Relax at Wakpala, a superb restaurant at Duingt with a private beach (5 to 10 minutes from the campsite by car). We recommend an aperitif board while sitting on the sofas by the lake, or have dinner at the campsite restaurant if you don’t feel like moving far.

Sunday Rafting !

The departure from the accommodation is before 10am. To optimize the day, you can leave the mobile home from 8 a.m. and leave the keys with us at reception. Depending on your route, you can plan a fun packed activity such as rafting or hydro-speed. Our two campsites have partnerships with rafting companies, do not hesitate to contact us for more attractive rates. We recommend the Isère river for rafting, towards Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Aime-la-Plagne because you will rarely find traffic jams along this route. Different courses allow you up to 3 hours of whitewater descent, or even a day for the more adventurous.

Program of a one-week stay for a dynamic young couple:

tfs21 sélection 92 Trail de Faverges-Seythenex

Day 1: Jogging, trail or cycling

As a little warm-up, the cycle path is quiet, especially in the morning. It is flat, independent of the road and with superb viewpoints. If you cycle, it is 50 km from Annecy to Albertville and we are in the middle. You can also jog along the cycle path, provided you stay on the side.

For trail training, you can start gently with the Nanceau path just above Les Fontaines campsite, then run to the Oratory which has a fairly steep climb. At an intermediate level, go to Verthier and take the GR which climbs to the Col de la Forclaz.

Day 2 : Tamié adventure trail

At the heart of the Fort de Tamié, 25 minutes from the campsite above Faverges, you can spend a wonderful day tree climbing. The view of Mont Blanc from the last zip line is exceptional.

The red and black levels are quite tough and guarantee an experience full of thrills and spills. The black pass includes a Via ferrata, you go from trees to rocks with the same equipment.

Do not hesitate to spend the day at the Fort and eat there, at the snack bar or take a picnic, it is in a world of its own and has an incredible view of Mont Blanc.
aiguille du midi Aiguille du midi

Program of a one-week stay for a dynamic young couple Day 3: Day in Chamonix-Mont Blanc

Chamonix and the cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi is a must in Haute Savoie. We suggest a small variant with a hike across to the Mer de Glace a little off the beaten track.

Book your tickets a few days before on the Internet and leave as early as possible in the morning.
The journey by car goes through Megève and takes about 1h30.

Arriving into Chamonix, park in the first car park at the roundabout on the right near the cable car.

The cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi is in two stages. Go to the top to enjoy the view, and before there are too many queues, experience ‘Step into the Void’ - a glass room with a glass floor, situated off the uppermost terrace of the Aiguille du Midi at an altitude of 3842.

On the way down, at the Plan de l'Aiguille station, leave the crowds and set off on the hiking trail that joins the Mer de Glace. The hike is not difficult and lasts about 2 hours. Visit the Mer de Glace cave (220 steps…!) then return to the village with the Montenvers train.

It is an original way to visit Mont Blanc and saves standing in queues for public transport.
tournette

Day 4 : Hike to the highest peak of Lake Annecy: La Tournette.

Access by road RN 508 then D42, direction Col de la Forclaz. Before the Col, you take a small road to the right just after the village of Montmin. You can park at the Pré Verel car park or directly at the Col de l'Aulp chalet.

Reserved for good walkers, this hike is varied and magnificent. Leaving early in the morning, the 3 hour climb can be done in the cool with a magnificent view of the lake. Arriving at the top, a few cables and two ladders allow you to reach the summit: sensations guaranteed!

On the way back, you can stop to eat at the Col de l'Aulps restaurant, a typical alpine farm that cooks its own products. Remember to book!

Day 5 : Descent by mountain bike from Semnoz and Visit of Annecy by night

The Semnoz is a mountain above the city of Annecy. It is very popular for family walks because you can get to the top by car.

We advise you to go to Annecy by car and park at the station. From there, you can use the S4 Annecy Semnoz bus line. It operates every weekend in June and September. In July and August, it operates every day. For 5€, it takes you with your mountain bike to the top. The descent by mountain bike is not very difficult, it is winding and often shaded with over 1300 meters of drop. Please note, with a bike, it is strongly recommended that you catch the bus from the station to ensure that you have a place on the bus.

You can spend the rest of the afternoon in Annecy, why not at the beach of the Marquisats or at the Imperial (paying but with a great diving board and fine sand)

In the evening, take time for a romantic dinner in a restaurant in the old town and stroll through the streets after dark. Annecy has plenty of pretty alleys where you can get lost as a couple.
