Camping La Ravoire was established in 1988 by the Coutin family and began as a small campsite with 100 pitches. In 2012, Florence and Philip sold the campsite to the Rulland family who already owned Camping Les Fontaines.
Since then, the Rulland family have made many changes to the campsite, building a new swimming pool complex including indoor pool, reception and shop and this winter we are refurbishing and extending the snack bar and transforming it into a restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. We are also building a new children’s playground and toilet facilities for the swimming pool & playground!
Damien is Annecy born and bred and he has lived here all his life. He is a mountain lover and a hard worker. In the summer you will see him here there and everywhere on the campsite. If he’s not cleaning at the shower block at 7am in the morning, he will be cooking burgers in the bar in the evening and then the next day you will see him on the lawnmower!
Kayleigh (originally from Essex, England) met Damien at the campsite whilst on holiday in May 2015. Now she is happily engaged to Damien and enjoys mountain life! Kayleigh likes to hike, run and bike around the area in the summer and ski in her spare time in the winter. Her role on the campsite tends to be around the reception and sometimes the bar!
Julie (originally from Hoddesdon, England) is our resident receptionist. Julie has known Damien and his family for a number of years having worked for a camping Tour Operateur. She has been with us at the reception of La Ravoire since 2012.
Benji is our superstar handyman and has worked for the campsite for the past 2 years. Benji works all year round, providing maintenance in the summer and working on the construction side of things in the winter.
